Karen Clark is the Midday On-Air Personality at Foxy 107/104 and can be heard weekdays from 10 AM until 3PM. She is a Durham native and a graduate of the School of Journalism at UNC - Chapel Hill. Previously, Karen worked in the recording industry where she promoted artists for both Columbia Records and Capitol Records. Artists she has worked with include Beyonce', Mariah Carey and Will Smith.

After years in the music industry, Karen, along with her mother, started Something Borrowed, Something Blue, a nationally-recognized wedding and event planning company based in Raleigh. Karen's events have been seen on the Style Network shows "Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?" and "Married Away". She has been a featured contributor for InStyle Weddings, The Knot and various local news programs and publications.

After several years of successful wedding planning, Karen started a family and chose to return to her first love.....radio. She enjoys interacting with her listeners, community leaders and students who desire a career in broadcasting.

Karen is specifically focused on ensuring that Black listeners in the Triangle and eastern North Carolina get the most pertinent information that affects our communities.

Karen recently married attorney Dan Blue, III. When not working, Karen enjoys cooking for her family, watching UNC basketball (she married a dook alum... go figure,) exploring the Triangle's best restaurants and discovering women-owned businesses in the area. In addition, Karen is a board member for The Women's Center in Raleigh. She has also been a parenting contributor for ABC11.
